IMDA Symposium to Feature "Smack-Downs"

The 2015 IMDA Symposium, which takes place Oct. 28-29 at the Doubletree Chicago North Shore Hotel and Conference Center in Skokie, Illinois, will feature "smack-downs" – point/counterpoint workshops in which industry experts illustrate alternate ways of creating products and solving problems. Topics include The Cutting Edge: Roll Fed Technology vs. Cut & Stack Automation; Real Chemistry: UV Web Offset vs UV Sheet Offset; David & Goliath: Digital Printed IML/IMD vs Conventional IML/IMD; and That’s a Wrap: Insert IMD vs Foil IMD. The workshops are concurrent open-ended sessions allowing for ease of discussion.

The symposium is an educational event that includes workshops, invited papers and am exhibit hall. The 2015 IMDA Award winners will be announced during a ceremony, and various networking opportunities are available with industry peers.
